December 2015: the Albatros W4 (late) is finally finished. Had to replace some plastic with wire (Roden Kit) otherwise the Floats would not stay in Place. Besides the fact that the Roden Decals look good at the Sheet but will likely break if you apply them and will not stick on the surface (microscale red nor revell or humbrol decal softener will work), the naval hex decals are redbrown/darkgreen/creme ! One may discuss if the naval lozenge should be blue/gray as the box shows at the back and as the hansa brandenburg w29 was painted, or as stated in some documents by german army "grey-brown, grey-blue and grey-purple", but i saw NEVER any information about maroon/green/creme... and it also looks terrible to my opinion, so i decided to print the greyblue/purple/brown ones myself. The Rest of the Roden Decals worked so far when treated with microscale decal fix, put into hot water and dryed using a hot hairbrush.
Below a sample of the decals in my kit (top), some found at the internet in a review of the kit, and the box back.... maybe roden forgot to print the "blue" color so cream woud be blue, green would be brown and the maroon woudl be magenta ?

I got a (cheap) Airfix Hannover CL IIIa Kit on ebay, so this will be the next task to create the Lozenge Decals as nearly the whole airplane was covered..

Merry Christmas !
October 2015: Bought a new Printer. Created my first Lozenge Decals for MAC Roland D VI. Initially, i wanted to create lozenge decals for the Roden Albatros W4 (late) because the supplied are definitively wrong. I dont want to discuss the real colour of the lozenge over and over, but cream/green/redbrown was not used and also looks strange. If roden had provided blue/light blue/grey hex lozenge, i would have tried to use it because it looks ok for a seaplane. Since i had to print them, i decided to create grey-blue/grey-brown/grey-violet hex lozenge. i tried some of the roden decals, they break anyway and dont react to any softener... I have seen some Pictures in the web that show blue decals, the box art also shows blue, but i have seen also pictures of the green/brown/cream version
here are the first decals (4 colour) for the roland.
October 2015: Bristol Scout nearly done
October 2015: started the Bristol Scout in Ottoman Service
October 2015: in the meantime... building the MAC Bristol Scout takes some time. i've got an old short run kit from Warlord (WK Modell), for the Blohm&Voss BV40 and DFS Stummelhabicht. Looks simple but need lot of sanding etc..
  October 2015: finished MPM's Hansa Brandenburg W29
September2015: RPM#s MACK Bulldog nearly finished.
August 2015: Roden Albatros D III nearly finished

Summer 2015: Finished some models, only a few thumbs here.. Some WW1 Planes (Fokker, Albatros, Letov)

Finished a Junkers Ju 52 Lufthansa. To complete the picture, i bought a Hasegawa Mercedes G31/W4 on ebay. Unfortunately some Details are missing and some are wrong, especally hood / radiator / rear and interior.

Bad news: It broke during modifications. Good news: For surprise, the package bought at ebay contained 2 complete sets.. I decided to make a new hood.
Here is the second try:

To save the broken one, i built a closed camouflaged version (hood, soft top, front screen and windows from scratch)

And here is the Ju 52

I have also a Roden Ludewig Aero Bus. It should accompany the Ju 52 and W31 nicely. I will post some pictures under models when it is finished.
February, 2nd: Finally built the Leo 451, an old Heller Kit bought in Czech Republic (Manufacturer SMER) some Years ago
I noticed that Revell had added new Decals to some of the very old WW1 Kits from the 80's recently, and had the chance to buy some kits for less then 4 or even 3 euros.. So the next modells will be probably some of these.. Nieuport 28, Fokker E III and D VII, Boeing Peashooter and Stearman Kaydet.. Should look nice in the showcase because the early airplanes have been very colurful.
January, 30: A small but decorative accessory, the Bmw R12 from zvezda. Not many parts, so more time for some details..
2015: Happy New Year ! Finished Lavochkin La-11 and Gaz BZ38 Refueller (from Unimodels Pe-2 Kit)
2014: finished the MBR-2 and some decoration (german kuebelwagen, nsu kettenkrad and willys jeep. pictures will follow
June 24, 2013: decided to try the old avia/siga beriev mbr-2bis flying boat next. i fear it will consume nearly all my putty supply.
June 2013: The Tupolev I-4 (ANT-5) is also finished..
June 2013: What's next after the I-4 is finished ? I have some kits in stock. Maybe (to complete the russian fighters) the polikarpov i-17 from amodel. also, there is a Lavotchkin la-11 from Gran.
I bought a Revell/Italaeri kit from the 1970's some years ago at a garage sale, a Henschel HS 126, and noticed recently that the wrong canopy is in the box. Fortunately, there was a replacement 'crystal clear' copy from squadron/falcon back in the 70's, and i found a pair at www.1001modellbau.de (it's a french company) for a reasonable price. Maybe the Henschel will be the next project.
And i got some good photographs of the Beechcraft AT-11 Kansan of the Turkish Air Force, and i have a model from turkish PM Model. It's rather simple and needs more or less improvement (missing roof windows, missing engine exhausts, more details for the engine, some interior at least) but it's a nice aircraft and i don't have one with turkish markings until now.
June 2013: The I-5 is finished..
June 2013: As promised, the pictures from the I-5 and I-4. (see above)
June 2013: I didn't had much time the last years. But the Messerschmitt is finished and in the gallery, followed 2012 by the Albatros DIII.
In Progress are the Polikarpov I-5 from ICM and the Tupolev I-4 (ANT-5) from Zvezda, Pictures will follow.
